In 2009 Fiona fell from grace. With her popularity never higher, somehow Fiona managed to well and truly tumble off the wagon and onto the pages of the national media. She turned on her favourite child (she’ll tell you that’s just not right!) and she took up therapy.

After a damn good run on Dancing With the Stars, Fiona finished up 2009 much better off than she started. In amongst all the media furor she’s written a new show and toured the nation leaving thousands breathless with laughter since her last visit to Melbourne.

Fiona’s very public battle with the bottle has certainly taken her on a journey. As is always the case with Fiona though – it’s been a very funny journey. Her latest show On a Wing and a Prayer is Fiona’s account of getting the dancing shoes off her feet and the drinking devil off her back.

Fiona returns to Melbourne for the 2010 Melbourne International Comedy Festival with her new show On a Wing and a Prayer playing at the Arts Centre Playhouse from March 24-28. As a special treat, enjoy 50% more Fiona on the weekend (March 27-28) with her show extended to an hour and half!

On A Wing and A Prayer is at times poignant, always honest but above all hilarious. Fiona may not be your usual image of an angel, but her tales drawn from life are sent from comedy heaven.
